Cooperation of Private and Public Sectors (PPP)
The Public-Private Partnership (PPP)is a globally used scheme of financing infrastructure investments and providing certain services that traditionally belong to the scope of responsibility of public entities. In Poland, such a cooperation model of the public and private sectors is gaining in popularity.
One of Poland’s computerization priorities until 2013 is to ensure general access to electronic services. PPP facilitates this pursuit enabling easy cooperation between the investing parties. The public party may obtain funds for investments in data communication infrastructure from the EU structural funds, while the private party may co-finance the undertaking within a selected partnership model.
